This time of year is always busy. But we weren’t Christmas Shopping. That is very difficult to do when the people you need to shop for are with you
Instead we spent a day celebrating the holidays in other ways.
Early this afternoon we went to the Festival of Trees. The trees are made by community members and sold to benefit PCMC. The trees are often decorated in memory or in honor of someone and tell their story.
This evening we attended the Christmas Angel Dedication. I was a little nervous to take 5 children as it required some good behavior but they were all very respectful. I would like to make this an annual tradition.
My NILMDTS coordinator, Julie Williams, was one of the speakers. It was neat to meet her husband and see a familiar face.
And there wraps up a long and event filled day.

In honor and celebration of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness, and in honor and celebration of babies gone too soon.
There will be a wave of light tomorrow night. Beginning at 7 p.m. in each time zone, candles will be lit for babies lost during pregnancy or as infants.

Today was our Local Walk to Remember. I was able to go with my little girls.
The balloons represent babies lost to miscarriage, stillbirth, and newborns. Babies who are loved, wanted, and missed.
